Citilink Indonesia will operates 31 flight routes in 2013

Indonesia Aviation. Citilink Indonesia airline in 2013 will operate 31 domestic routes. In 2012, Citilink only serve 15 routes. Means, in 2013, the low-cost airline will have 16 new routes.

In 2013, Citilink Indonesia will bring passengers to fly to many destinations by adding a number of routes to various cities in Indonesia. "There are two things, what's new city or a new route. By 2013 there will be 31 routes, compared to the year 2012 which is only 15 routes," said Chief Executive Officer Citilink, Arif Wibowo, at a news conference on the campus of the University of Multimedia Nusantara, Serpong, Thursday, March 7, 2013.

Arif said the new routes to be opened by Citilink Indonesia, covering up to several cities in eastern Indonesia. "There also are to Ambon and Sorong. From Sorong be getting close to Raja Ampat. We're flying to Borneo, which is to Balikpapan and Banjarmasin. For flights of Sulawesi, there will be a flight from Makassar to Ambon. The city of Kupang also will be a destination our flight route ," said Arif.

In addition to the eastern region, the addition of route also includes flights to Java and Sumatra, namely to Pekanbaru, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Tanjung Pinang, and Tanjung Pandan. "We will go to Pekanbaru," said Arif.

Some target the opening of new routes by Citilink is a route that once served by Batavia Air.
