Batik Air open flight routes to Ternate

Direct flights Makassar-Ternate and Jakarta-Ternate will soon be served by airline the Batik Air. According to the plan, flight routes of Makassar-Ternate and Ternate-Jakarta by Batik Air began operation on December 19, 2014. Arifin said, Ternate government welcomed the service flight of Batik Air to Sultan Babullah Airport because it will further enhance the role of Ternate as the main gate to the North Maluku province through the air. One cause of tourists reluctant to visit Ternate for this is the limited air transport.

He expects the Batik Air not only to service direct flight Makassar-Ternate commute and Jakarta-Ternate commute, but also with other important cities in Indonesia, including Bali which has been the main entrance of foreign tourists to Indonesia.
