The flight route of Palembang-Bandung has served by Indonesia Air

Indonesia Aviation. Palembang-Bandung flight route was officially opened and served by Indonesia Air airline which is owned by PT Indonesia Air Transport Tbk. Indonesia Air will served of Palembang-Bandung flights by operating Airbus A320 aircraft which has a capacity of up to 150 passengers.

Indonesia Air, an airline owned by PT Indonesia Air Transport Tbk has opened a service the flights route of Palembang-Bandung using Airbus 320 aircraft with a capacity of 150 passengers from Friday, February 22, 2013.

Marketing Director of PT Indonesia Air Transport Tbk, Ahmad Syaripudin, said that the flight route be operated because South Sumatra considered to have a substantial market opportunity for flights to other parts of Java and Sumatra. "South Sumatra is now a region with economic growth continues to increase rapidly. Here is the mining of energy such as oil and gas, coal, oil and service sectors. This is a great opportunity for aviation services sector," said Ahmad Syaripudin.

For flights to several major cities in Indonesia, Indonesia Air use Bandung as a base of operations. From the capital city of West Java, Indonesia Air served Bandung-Medan route, Palembang-Bandung, Bandung-Pekanbaru, and Balikpapan-Bandung. Each one flight per day.

Indra, a passenger on the inaugural flight welcomed the opening of the new route is Indonesia Air. "With the Palembang-Bandung route means it could save time and costs. If before going to Bandung, to fly to Jakarta first, from Jakarta by bus or travel from Soekarno-Hatta airport, then using the land route to Bandung," he said.
