After not operated for two years, pioneer flights to Rote Ndao regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, now re-opened in 2013. Rote Ndao is the border area Indonesia-Australia. Bruno Kupok said, in 2013, there are two of pioneers flight routes that opened, the Kupang-Rote Ndao and Belu-Alor. Earlier, in East Nusa Tenggara five of pioneers flight routes, Kupang-Sabu Raijua, Sabu Raijua-Waingapu, Sabu Raijua-Ende, Kupang-Belu, and Kupang-Kisar, Maluku Province.

The reopening of flights to Rote Ndao, Belu and Alor, because the area is a border area between Indonesia and Australia and the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste that deserve the attention of the central government. At two years ago there was a pioneering flight into Rote Ndao served by TransNusa airlines. But then there was disagreement between the district government of Rote Ndao and TransNusa so that flight to be stopped by TransNusa. Bruno Kupok said that the opening of pioneer flights to open isolated areas and encouraging economic growth in the region. East Nusa Tenggara are islands province so badly in need of adequate transportation services to the air, sea and land, to the people in East Nusa Tenggara.
