Indonesia and the Boeing Company increase cooperation in the field of civil aviation in Indonesia

Indonesia Aviation. Aircraft maker companies from the U.S., Boeing, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transportation and Airlines of the United States to further improve the training of human resources in the field of civil aviation in Indonesia. The training involves the entire flight school in Indonesia. Furthermore, Indonesia and Boeing have collaborated to hold a workshop in the standard manual for flight school, system of screening and selection of aircraft pilots, educational curricula, and training.

The Ministry of Transportation and Boeing Company, have formed a partnership to improve the training of human resources in the field of civil aviation in Indonesia. Center for Public Communication the Ministry of Transportation, in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday, March 9, 2013, the collaboration will involve the whole school aviator, training instructor, syllabus, or curriculum. Through training or workshops are expected to advance the human resource in the field of civil aviation, air navigation and airworthiness.

A number of steps have been made by Indonesia and the Boeing Company, in implementing cooperation is a workshop that discusses the standard manual for the flight schools, the system of screening and selection of aircraft pilots, educational curricula, and training. In addition, the agreement also covers the route development plans in Papua and Maluku for short and routes throughout Indonesia for the long term.

Previously, the Republic of Indonesia and Australia signed the Air Services Agreement which regulates in detail the rights of transport capacity, frequency and aircraft type airline of each country. "There have been many developments in the field of air transport between Indonesia and Australia, the number of passengers continues to increase. Therefore Air Service Agreement greatly needs to be revised by the two countries," said Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, EE Mangindaan.

Mangindaan expressed hope that the national airline of Indonesia capitalize on the growth of air transport between Indonesia and Australia as well as possible, because there are many requests from several cities in Australia.
